CALLS FROM DJS

Just got a called from Music to ur ears...
letting me know they can help me with my wedding and blah blah blah...

Which dont get me wrong but it is great
BUT HOW DID THEY GOT MY NUMBER!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I also just got a called from Parties alive!!!

HOW are they getting my NUMBER?!!!!!!!!!!!!???

from a bridal show/expo, or maybe even from LIW (if they're a vendor on here) or some other wedding website you registered at.

ooooor, did you register for any contests?

i get tons of calls and emails every day ... it's 'fun'

Same thing with me! It's so annoying! I even deleted part of my phone number on this site to try to avoid the cold calls!

i know its annoying... beware what you sign up for and list your contact info.. i just got a special email for the wedding and dont list my number if feasible.. if the form requires a # and im really interested in the vendor, i will listed it and in the comment box i indicate that i dont want my # shared with others

yea i dont like being stalk to use your services.. its a BIG turn off.. one call to follow up - fine. normal part of business.... but when i told you time and time again, i dont have an official date or im not booking vendors at this time.. PLEASE STOP!!! (( to the vendors on LIW .. they know who they are .. )) whew, had to get that of my chest

Good idea. I got a lot of calls last year after I registered on this site, and when I changed my date to 2011 I got another round of calls last month.

YUP-from bridal expo's. You signs a few contact sheets and then everyone's calling you! I get so many voicemails-if i don't recognize the number i don't answer just cause i don't feel like being bothered!

Since i changed my phone number i have not received any calls...
However i am receving mail EVERY DAY...
My mom looked at me and asked 'Wait... I thought u were getting married NExt year.. u are getting TONS of leters every day!'

It funny because there a few bridal expos that i signed up for but never made it and I would get these calls saying hey thanks for stopping by our vendor booth at the ... expo- and I reply say oh I didnt make that one but your welcome lol

It can become very annoying
I suggest setting up a wedding e-mail account just for wedding related stuff- that what I did
