does any one else have a callus on their finger from their engagement ring? uggggh so gross and annoying, what do i do for it?

My skin gets dry from it sometimes, but no callus. The only suggestion I have is lots and lots of intensive care lotion, on a regular basis. Also, if its callused perhaps the ring is rubbing and needs to be sized? Otherwise, the callus will develop regardless if there is something rubbing on it consistently. Also, I have learned not to try to shave it down... from my experience, it will just come back thicker lol.
