Re: cameras

I'm not. I thought about it but I heard from a few brides on here that they give you tons more pics to sort through. After seeing what my friends do with them.....well, yeah, I decided not to!

I would have probably gone with Kodak or Fuji- I don't think it really matters, tho I could be wrong, have been before!

I thought about it and after reading other post decided against it. It is costly to develop the film and most brides said the pictures did not come good. You are talking about friends who have had a couple of drinks and forget to put on the flash or the picture is lopsided.

It's something you can probably do without, but I think it's a nice idea - even if you just get a few fun pictures...they'll probably capture silly moments that your photographer might miss...even the best one! One camera per table isn't all that much...or even every other table.

If cost is a concern, you might want to try mailing the film to KodakGallery (formerly Ofoto). They'll develop the roll for a few dollars, post the pix electronically on their site, mail you the negatives, and if you want to order prints, you can for like $0.15 each...or just have prints made at a local store.

I didn't get mine developed yet! I keep forgetting to bring them in

I bought 4 packs of Fuji cameras at Walmart. They were $19 for a 4 pack (I paid less with coupons) and were nicely decorated and even came with tent cards. They’re 800 speed for low lighting conditions.

I am getting the cameras for my tables. I looked on-line and found sites that sells them in bulk. Some of them even include the cost of developing them. A friend of mine did the cameras for her wedding in April and she loved it. She got so many great pictures.

No, for reason being:
Every wedding I have gone to w. those cameras on the tables, the guest take it upon themselves, and take their 'own' pics, and keeps the camera for themselves. And the ones that are returned are not good pics, of anything worth developing
