Hi-
Can anyone recommend a good campground upstate
in the catskills area w/good hiking trails.

Some members of my family used to stay at Tachonic State Park. Not sure how it is (or how it was?) but I guess it's worth looking into. I'm sure it's nice. They went every year for many years.

The KOA Campgrounds in the New Paltz/Newburgh area are very nice. Also, Kittatinny or Indian Head in Barryville , NY are nice - right near the Delaware River which I recently just canoed.
