camping in maine

me and dh are thinking about camping in maine

any suggestion on where to stay or where to go where to visit

all suggestion greatly appreciated

what kind of camping? Trailor or tent? there is a camp ground called Baileys camp ground in Scarborough and is a couple miles from Old Orchard Beach, about a mile from Pine Point beach, and about 15 minutes from Portland. Your also about a 20 minute drive from Portland Headlight Lighthouse. FM me if u have any specific questions- Im happy to help!

When we were younger we went to Papoose Pond. I don't know what it is like now but they have cabins, a lake, you can stay in a tent, or trailer like things. There isn't much to do up there. There is hiking and shopping.

We also stayed in Boothbay Harbor. Absolutely beautiful but we stayed in a house.
