Jenn the Hair Genie is in Fresh Meadows. She's a vendor here and works with Oksana (makeup). If you email her, give her a few days to get back to you...she gets a lot of emails!!!!

she travels to your house the day of but for trials you need to come to her which its really easy to get there. I am sure you can also use her salon in her place if you can travel the day of your wedding but honestly its so much easier having her there.

Nicky at SPAce Salon in Astoria (in the Ditmars area)...she also does excellent make-up!

I LOVE my regular hair person. She did a hair trial for me on Friday and I was so happy with it. She is located in Astoria, Queens. From what I quoted, she is also a lot cheaper than most 'wedding' specialists.
