..recommend any hotels near crest hollow for my out of town guests?

Maybe the Inn at Fox Hollow? I'm not sure how their prices are though.

i went there monday night. the hotel doesn't have a bar and i think the rooms are a little pricey.

How about the Fairfield Inn in Syosset. Marriott is usually a reputable chain.

We are using the Marriott Residence Inn. The prices are good and the rooms are huge, and it has some nice (IMO) spots for indoors pics which was important to me. We also looked at the Hilton Garden Inn which is nice and Laurie over there is super helpful. HTH, feel free to FM me if you need more info or have any questions.
