Can anyone...

Can anyone recommend somewhere to go for a mini-moon. We are going to take our honeymoon a few months after when I am off from work.

It would mostly likely be for a long weekend.

we are doing this too and in the process of deciding between Niagara falls or NYC. we live in the hamptons so thats out!

http://www.cabinrentalvermont.com/ we went there last January it was so cute/romantic and just amazing. we went on a sleigh ride too.

Lake George has some VERY nice places BUT I hear New Hempshire has gorgeous B & B's...and some have package deals for GORGEOUS rooms!

ocean city maryland is 4 hours from long island and is beautiful. i know it has suffered some devastation from hurricane sandy, however, i'm sure they will rebuild and it is beautiful!!!! If new jersey ocean locations rebuild, wildwood is gorgeous and fun!! :) if not, montauk is wonderful, new york city, mystic connecticut (highly recommend- if you do choose mystic stay at the whalers inn- i've stayed there so many times its so amazing) ive loved and enjoyed every aspect of mystic since i was really young and still do- you can't go wrong there!!!!

we're going to go to Revel in Atlantic City... We've always loved AC and got engaged there so it's special. Revel is the newest hotel there and i heard the spa and restaurants are AMAZING

We love the Whaler's Inn in Mystic, CT for a long weekend. They have an 'adults only' section to their hotel too, so no little jam-hands making noises all night long!

What about Mohonk Mountain Resort? Nice, a little expensive but inclusive.

The Woolverton Inn is a really nice B&B - fireplaces in the room, yummy breakfast.

Check them both out - really nice
