Can anyone FM or repost this with correct Spanish punctuation?

Thanks to fabulousmady, I now have a Spanish translation for my STD notecards. Unfortunately, The accents and other Spanish punctuation is not showing up. Please help!!!

Nuestro dia llegara pronto,
Y no podemos esperar!
Pegue este iman en su nevera,
Para que no te vas a olividar!

Para aquellos que vienen desde lejos, nos hemos reservado cuartos de hotel en el Ramada Adria Conference Center Bayside. La tarifa del grupo seran $145 mas impuestos por noche. Para reservar su cuarto, por favor menciona la boda de McDonnell/Negron para recibir su descuento. Por favor llama a 718-631-7900 antes del 24 de abril de 2009 para reservar sus cuartos.

Just a suggestion....the last sentence 'Para que no te vas a olividar!' should be changed to.....

Para que no se les olvide!

Don't mean to step on anybody's toes...just a suggestion.

As far as accents go it's hard to tell you versus showing/indicating where they go....

It's sooo hard to do this Spanish translation!!! I kinow there are all different dialects. This will be for Puerto Ricans and Dominicans...if that makes a difference.

Doesn't really matter it just flows more nicely/ sounds better for a lack of better term...

ur actually right. i just fm'd that to maureen with a few other corrections on that version.

i think it should read like this:

and maureen ur also right about the different dialects but this will make sense to dominicans and puertoricans. IM DOMINICAN

I think the one I posted on BHB is close to Mady's translation, you can try to pick up some of the accents there.

Also not to step on anyones toes I would go with:
'Para que no te vayas a olvidar' (not sure if it's the y or ll there)
' ...... hemos reservado cuartos de hotel en....' - basically just remove 'nos'

It doesn't matter if it's for PR or Dominican's in this case because it's about tone (informal) and grammar and less about dialect.

Also....'nos hemos' sentence you can get rid of the word nos.

Maureen just tell me to stop criticizing b/c I don't want to create any issues or that I know perfect spanish and mady doesn't.

No, it's okay Fall BZ....this isn't Mady's actual translation...She did it first then FH's cousin got to it and made changes...It seems like he's the one who don't know what he's doing

It's best to keep it formal. This is a good translation and it still rhymes.

If you want to use the ' uds.' form:

Nuestro día lluegará pronto,
Y nó podemos esperar!
Péguen este imán en sus neveras,
Para que no se les vayan a olvidár!
