can anyone give me photo album advice? PLEASE!!!

I know that the old style albums have some type of acid in them which eats away at the pictures. Unfortunately for me..I have tons of these albums. I want to switch over all of my pictures into good albums, but dont know what they are. I went to Walmart, and the guy had no clue what I was talking about. Can anyone tell me what I should be looking for when buying the new albums? I want to save my pictures while I have the chance. I know the bad ones are the ones where the cover kind of sticks to the paper, are the good ones the kind with just plastic slots? Does anyone know what Im talking about? I dont even know what Im talking about!

I think the plastic slotted ones are good.

I put my photos in the old-style albums - where you need photo corners to hold the pics - and they're acid-free paper. I just like the look of the black background - it makes the photos pop. I got them at Michael's.
