OK so DH and I found a new (bigger!!) apt that we will be moving into in november. yay!! Soooooooo i want to take my china out from under my bed
Here is the catch......the 'dining area' has a space that is set back in the wall where I can fit a china cabinet that is appx 36' wide, and 13' deep. Odd? Ya think??? I can't find a single thing. I've been on the internet for almost 4 hours. If I get it deeper than the 13', it will start to block a doorway and I realllly don't want to do that. As far as the width, the smaller, the better. I just need it to be able to hold the 8 place settings (displayed, or not) and have some storage cabinets under the glass part. Confusing?? sorry...lol
I tried Ikea, Crate and Barrel....i'm tapped out! Any suggestions??????
I don't have pics of the place, but if you want to see the floor plan, go to the Korman Communities website, under 'Ave' apts, click CLIFTON, NJ....and it's the 2 bd.2ba model.
TIA :)

If you don't need to display it, look for a different type of furniture (something for storage) - I think you'll keep finding the same things if you are searching the term 'china cabinet' - good luck!

I just thought of this: a barrister bookcase. It has shelves and glass to protect what's inside.
As excited as you are...I suggest waiting until you are actually in. Then you can move around furniture & see if you can work it somewhere else to get what you want.

you can have one built as well, might be a little more expensive, but I am sure you could get an estimate

try raymour and flanigan or gothic cabinets (they can even custommake you something)
