fh says our house is starting to smell like dog! how can i get rid of it..i dont bathe her alot becasue she is a puppy..so i use puppy wipes..and i dont let her on the couch or bed either!! any suggestions? how often should i bathe her? vet said puppies shouldnt get too many baths because their skin will dry out..but she is 8 months already!! please help!! TIA!!
What smells? The air in general or the puppy? I use carpet fresh 2x a week and vacum often. I also spray a new Fabreze. It's called spring blossom or something. It works great. I give Chewie a bath every other week.

the smell might be coming from your puppy shedding, keep vacuuming regularly (we do at least once a week) and also brushing your puppy too. Golem doesn't need to be bathed that often, so we've been giving him a bath about once a month - and even then he isn't stinky. We have a wax potpourri burner that we'll light whn the house starts smelling too much like rawhide chewiesI also picked up the new Febreeze air freshener, and that works really well too, esp when he's a bit gassy

I had a friend over once and he wasn't very good with Oscar. So I gave Oscar a marrow filled bone to distract him. It worked but my friend kept saying that the place smelled like dog. After he left I realized that it was the bone. It had a bar B Q and bacon scent to it. So here I was giving my dog a bone to try to keep the peace in the house, and my friend complained about the bone!!!!!! When Oscar was done with that bone, the house smelled better again. Of course he loved the smelly bone!!
