I'm thinking about doing an 'How Sweet It Is' kind of theme - something fun and light-hearted for my June '05 afternoon wedding. Does anyone have anything ideas or pics they can share? My main color is pink. I'm looking for everything form favors to inivtes to everything else. Also, what would be a good accent color? Thanks ladies! :o)
oohh.....you could do so much with this theme....favors could be chocolate pops or the candy conversation hearts. You could do purple accents or varying shades of pink, or pink with ivory or white. Your flowers could be very romantic looking...garden like..... you could bring in a cotton candy cart......

ohmigod I was thinking the same thing with the cotten candy!! and lollipops.. and do a candy buffet bar thing!!! jars full of all kinds of sweets!!

Candy wrappers are cheap on ebay and customizable as well!!
There is an article in The Knot magazine about a couple who had a similar theme. They used lollipops as table numbers. You can find it in the magazine under the real wedding section page 30.

my florist gave us the idea of using a candy topiary for the children's table..maybe you can look into that for some of the tables..
