My boss got me this really pretty arrangement for Prof. Admin. Week, and I'm trying to find out what type of plants some of them are. There are six different kinds, and I know there's Ivy, African violet and a Spider plant in there. But I do not know which ones these are! Do you know the names of these plants:
Christina - I could be wrong but they look a little like Diffenbachia to me which is the pic above. Very common houseplant but EXTREMELY poisonous!! Until you can confirm what it is, keep your daughter/pets away from it! We learned the hard way when my sis and bro were babies and fed it to each other!! A long day was spent on the phone with Poison Control and Ipacec syrup!!

Re: Can anyone identify these type of plants??
The three pointed ones are ivy, the african violets are the one with fuzzy leaves and flowers, I think.

yeah..those I know..its the other ones I don't have a clue on.
the one with the red 'veins' on them, the one with the speckles, and the green and white ones.
i think you may be right shana...i found some more pics of the diffenbachia that michal thought this may be, but the leaves bear alot more resemblence to the hosta varieties.

i don't think its deffenbachia...I think it more closely resembles the Lady Guinevere Hosta plant;
Lady Guinevere is a wonderfully bright, colorful hosta whose cream-centered leaves are set off with irregular green margins, prominent leaf veins, and pointed/twisted tips. 16' tall by 32' wide, lavender blooms
