Can anyone post pics of TRUE photojournalism pics...

My parents are confused about what this is ...and I would like to show them! Thank you ladies!!!

Here are two of mine. I don't know what 'true' exaclty means but this was my idea of photojournalism I guess

A lot of times people mistake Candid photos for photojournalism....so I am not so sure what the difference is either...But thank you for the post.....

i always thought it was a pic....thats tells a story when you look at it!?! am i totally off w/ this 1?

'photojournalistic' to me is a TRUE candid shot that captures an exact moment (emotion, realism, etc.) so when put together with all the 'photojournalistic' shots, it creats a story. You should be able to look at the picture and know exactly how that person was feeling and what was happening???? LOL i just tried to really be serious about this, but did i just make a goofball out of myself??

Candids are pictures that are taken spur of the moment, like two people talking when they don't know the camera is on or kissing during a dance.

Photjournalism will include detail, like an up close of the buttons on your dress or your shoes sitting on the steps. It will have candids, but you are also going to have pictures of things that are very detailed and that some people would argue don't really display the day rather the artistic talents of your photographer. However, as stated before, they do show every step of your wedding story, so it really depends on what style you like.

I myself remain opinionless on the topic, because I like both styles.
