Can anyone recomend a spa??

Just wondering if anyone can help me find a spa or salon?? I wanted to go to a spa or salon the day of the wedding, make it a girl thing the morning of the big day, with my best friend, mom and sisters. We want to get married at night...

Anyway I never have luck with hair stylists, they always have trouble with my hair cause it is very long and thick!!!! I'm from Texas and have been going to the same lady for as long as I can remember, and she won't be able to make it....

I'm used to paying at least $100-150 for hair. That is with shampoo and style.

Any kind of websites, etc. will help

Uptown or down? Do you want a full-service place, one that does nails and hair?

I was interested in Hair and Nails and make-up. My mom and sisters might want massage, you know everyone is so different.

The only places I can think of are Elizabeth Arden Red Door in midtown and Maximus on Mercer Street.

Georgette Klinger does facials, manicures, and pedicures, but I'm not sure about hair and makeup.

Are you looking in Manhattan or on Long Island? If on L.I., what town is your hall in?

You can try 'www.spafinder.com' to find a place. I also tried 'google' when I was looking for a place, and then sampled the places before choosing. (We're doing it the day before. Someone will come to my parents house for hair and make-up the wedding morning.)
