a venue to hold a pre-wedding cocktail reception in east LI - around Riverhead to Greenport?

August - and to hold around 50-100 people would be ideal!

That restaurant looks beautiful!! I'm going to look into it as a possible rehearsal dinner place...

For the cocktail party, we're thinking of looking into nice lounges or bars (or even pubs for something more casual) - any suggestions?

I work in advertising sales for WALK 97.5 and we do a restaurant advertising program, so I am constantly researching restaurants in Suffolk county. I might have some notes on some places or maybe one of my coworkers does... I will check when I get into work.

Or if you are into wine- how about one of the vineyards on the North fork? You can have a wine and cheese type party. Martha Clara, Pindar, Palmer.... just to name a few

That's a great idea - except that my wedding is at a vineyard, so I might be overdoing the vineyard theme! :) Thanks for the suggestions, though...please do let me know if you think up more!
