Can anyone recommend a good band?

My friend is getting married and they want a band instead of a DJ. They're not sure where to start.

Does anyone have any recommendations for her?

The Touch!! they started out as a LI bar band many moons ago, but they are PHENOMINAL!!

here's a link to their site.....this is the only band I would've wanted if FH wasn't so hung up on having a DJ! I think they are in the 5-6K range too, which isn't bad for a band!!

I think Arcadia is fantastic.. they played at Tonimike's wedding and I thought they were great.. my friends FH works for them and sets up their equipment and he thinks they are great as well

Arcadia is amazing!!! And I hear Renegade is good too. They are both from LI Paramount.

Fran Diamond and the hits. We have seen them at West Sayville Country Club's Bridal Showcase.
They are excellent!!!

They really are fabulous

We booked them.

I also like Vision- they have a horn section which is cool

Either way- great bands! And they are a good price compared to most bands which is nice.

They always play at Hudson and McCoy everythign Thursday night!!! :)

They are also a vendor on here.

Franklin Wayne has a lot of great bands but my favorite is Heart and Soul!
