We're looking to buy one too. Any recommendations would be great.

I just did a search on a Reviews website & this Panasonic PV-GS500 is recommended. It is pricey though ranging from $900- $1k.

FH's parents just bought him one--- He originally didn't really want it --Now, HE LOVES IT!!

Its the Sony SR80

It's on sale right now at Circuit city for $699.99 -- but I know you can haggle at circuit city and PC Richard.... His parents got it for $650 at PCRichards right before Christmas.

Its a hard drive-- so you don't have to carry discs around or memory cards-- & it has a cool touch screen.
