We're moving by Nov 1 from Manhattan to Bethpage and I don't know who to use. Also, do you know how much we should expect to pay moving from a 2BR apt to a house?
he has been doing it for 25 years...and is fully insured...very professional...and has 2 other people to help...
they will charge you an hour of time to come into the city though...

I WILL SAY DO NOT USE UNITED VAN LINES - and get LOTS of estimates - All of the moving companies were off by 500-1000 lbs - so the more you have you might be better able to judge the weight for a more accurate quote.
weighing is more for long distance moves...local moves I think charge by the hour

Paul Arpin Movers in Melville moved us from Ny to Pensacola, Florida last August. And then United Van Lines moved us from Pensacola, to Corpus Christi, Texas.
Everything was great with both! Have fun in Bethpage! It is where I used to live! So, lol Paul Arpin moved us out of Bethpage!
