Where do you live? I have been going to Chris, the owner at Top Cuts in Bethpage on Hempstead Tpke for years. She's great. She's my regular color and cut person, too, and has done my weddings for numerous weddings. Affordable, too. She will travel to you day of, too. Their number is 516-579-8866. I go to NuBest Salon & Co. in Manhassett. Dawn cuts/styles my hair but I am sure they can recommend someone for you.

Lauren Lavelle she used to work in the city and moved to LI 1 or 2 years ago. She was named updo queen by bride magazine a few years back. 516-629-6440
