can anyone refer some video & photogs.??

I'm looking to spend no more than $3,000 on video and pictures combined - I don't need a fancy package. Rather then just start going from place to place I wanted to begin on some referrals. Has anyone booked a good photographer who is reasonably priced?

Michael O`Neill for photo and video. We added on to the package, but you might be able to find something in your budget with them. What type of package were you looking for? Like how many albums, how many photos in those albums, etc. We`ve been beyond satisfied with their service to this point, and we really liked our engagement photos .. we`re having a tough time choosing which we like best. http://www.monphoto.com

We don't need parent albums, just an album for us I guess - I suppose around 30 pictures or so - as you can tell, I have no idea what I'm talking about. Where are they located

We are using Koala Studios

They are in Medford and are very reasonably priced. We don't need parent albums either and we are paying around $1400 for 2 photographers for the whole day. The 2 photographers are also the owners of the studio and they do all their own work. We met with both of them and they are lovely ladies whose work really impressed us. I am using John Pagano from VIP Studios. He actually works out of his home in Port Jeff. I drove out to meet him from Queens and was really very happy. I took my sister who used to be an assistant for wedding photographers and she was very satisfied with him. He showed us a complete set of proofs as well as albums, etc. He is not a salesman-type either, which I really liked. He was just a really cool guy. I gt his name from a few people on this site. For prices: the least expensive is 1700 for pictures and it does include parent books. We got the middle package (2000), but didn't need the parent books, so we exchanged them for things we wanted and he even knocked $100 off the price. He also does videos. The kind that is edited in the camera is 700 and seems decent and then there is a edited one with baby pics etc for 1100 or 1200. I think I will go for that one. ( I have not decided on the video yet) People always say don't skimp on your photos, and I wanted to get great pictures and video for about 3000 also. I think John is a great option, he really has some great work. He seems to be a photographer at heart. In his home there are photos of Neuschwanstein in Germany and the Coliseum in Rome and they are terrific. Check him out. It was a drive for me, but well worth it.
