i was wondering if anyone could share any information about the inn at quogue. does anyone have pics, prices, etc? do you have your wedding in a tent or in the dining room?

www.innatquogue.com

I haven't been there yet, but I'm planning on having guests stay there after my wedding (Atlantica). I hear it's quite nice!

Sorry I don't have more info, but check out the website.

I have been ther for holiday parties. It is a nice place a bit on the expensive side though. Proximity to the beach? Maybe ten minutes but in the summer you never know!!

I was thinking about getting a block of rooms there for my wedding but it seems like you have to put a desposit down. That makes me a bit nervous since I am still so far out and not sure how many people will be staying out on the island.

I looked there for my wedding... to be honest, I thought the pictures online look better than in person... probably because they just remodeled and the pics are of the way it used to look... the main room no longer has hardwood floors... the place is also very very small... they can only accomodate up to 100, otherwise, they put everyone in one room, and then the band in the next room which is the bar... if you have your ceremony on the premises, it has to be in a tent adjacent to the bar... I think they also will put up a tent for the cocktail hour, but you have to pay for the tent rental... I don't remember the price - I think anywhere between $100-$125, not including tax and service... the rooms were cute, but you have to be careful because some of the rooms are REALLY nice, and some are really not... the cheapest rooms look like motel rooms...
