Can I Buy My Veil and Tiara Before My Dress?

I'm going to Tri-County tomorrow and if I find something I like, I was thinking of buying it, but can I do that being I haven't bought my dress yet?

personally wouldnt recommend...sometimes you think you know exactly what youll end up with and it unexpectedly goes a completely different way. dont chance it. for example, if i ordered a plain veil instead of waiting to see what matched my dress best (one with lace accents), it wouldnt have looked half as nice in my opinion.

Ok, I thought a lot about this before I went dress and veil shopping. I never thought I'd like cathedral veils for myself, but with a couple of dresses that I tried on, I fell in love with the cathedral look. I ended up going with a different style dress, but if I had purchased the cathedral veil, it would have been a waste because my dress that I got would not look good with a cathedral veil because of the design of the dress.

Also, some dresses look better with elbow length veils, and some with fingertip length, etc. And if you buy a plain dress, you may want an embellished veil; and if you buy a very detailed dress, you may want a more simple veil...

Just so many variables. In the end, a veil should ENHANCE the look of your dress, not overpower it. JMO. I would buy the dress first.

I think it would be easier if you have an idea of your dress. Only b/c if you find a veil with pearls it may not look nice with a dress that has rhinestones and vice versa. I would maybe hold off but definitely go and look

I think you should wait. I did that mistake and now I am re thinking my tiara and veil.. ...so if you can wait, then wait.

Wait unless you aren't getting a Tiara. I didn't get a tiara I got a spray. There is a pic in my album. It's not the greatest. It's swarovsky crystals and it's made on a comb. I knew that whatever I got that it would go. BUT if you are getting the whole tiara/viel thing then I would def wait.
