I know it is early to ask, but I've been setting up a pretty detailed budget and I realize that the jars for my candy buffet are going to be quite expensive.
Are any '09ers who are going to have a candy bufffet willing to either sell them to me for cheap, or give me some hints about where they got cheap jars. All I can find are some pretty expensive ones.
I know it is early but I REALLY want a candy buffet and looking @ my budget I realize it might not happen and I am getting upset. And FH is working late and not here to reel me in as usual when I make myself nutty

Well actually i just replied about this on the BHB board last night. I am getting married 2/15/09 and i will be having a candy buffet. I have not bought all of my jars yet but i will definitely have a few. I will be selliing everything after my wedding. Just to let you know that another bride did fm me earlier about the jars but if she decides not to take them them you're more than welcome to it. Actually the bride who fm me is getting married in May '09. I think that is still before you so even if she does take them, maybe she would be willing to pass them on to you after.

try going to dollar stores... or even, get the coupons for michaels each week (40% off normally) and buy them slowly...

Thanks. I was thinking it could be an LIW tradition to pass the jars along to the next person. I mean, I won't need them when I'm done and would give them to the next person.

Have you spoken to your RH about it? They may not be able to provide you the exact apothecary jars you've dreamed of, but they may be willing to put the candy out in glassware that they already have on site! NRC is doing that for me...i'm just bringing them the candy.

That's a cool idea. Likei said before i will definitely being getting rid of mine because like you said i will have no use for them. I just can't commit to you as of yet only because it was just this morning that someone fm about them. But i'm going to notebook this page and after the wedding i will send youa fm to see if you still need them. Is that ok? Also i'm going to have lots more other items for sale but i will post pics when everything is done.
