Can I call off a party the day before? I really wanted the party in my parents backyard...I just really like house parties. They convinced me to let them throw the party in my yard b/c my house and yard are much bigger. Well, now I am so stressed about the rain. I know I really cant call if off...but figured typing this out and hearing all the girls tell me I am insane to call off w/ less than 24 hrs to go...would make me feel better. LOL

My brother had a downpour day of his and the tent was great. had a monsoon at his wedding and the tent was great. you'll be fine.

i didn't do anything to celebrate my engagement and i am kind of pissed that i didn't so have a great time. & don't stress about the weather.
I hope the rain isnt as bad as they expect, I thought today would have been worse but luckily the weather was just bad in the morning, Worse case you can always schedule a rain date

I'm hoping the weather stays the way it is now. I am feeling better about it. The tent is ordered and we got a few other pop up tents. And my Mother, as crazy as she makes me, is a God send! She just came over and cleaned my entire house...without me even asking. That was after she did all the last minute shopping for the party and took us to dinner. I need to NEVER complain about her again!
