Can I get some restaurant recommendations near Valley Stream?
Italian, Mediterreanean, Mexican..... I've lived here a year and have been so preoccupied with the wedding that we haven't gone out to dinner much. TIA!

I live in Valley Stream too...we've been here about 1 1/2 years. We found 2 good places on Broadway in Hewlett I think, just south of Valley Stream. There's a great sushi place Midori and a great italian place Matteo's. We've been trying different places out around here.

On Rockaway Ave, there is a cute little Italian restaurant called Cafe Napoli. The food is very good and the desserts are yummy! Also on Monday nights they have a psychic that comes and she's really good!!!

Ancona Pizza on Rockaway Avenue is awesome. Buon Giorno on Merrick Road in Lynbrooks is great Northern Italian food. My inlaws swear by Hunan Taste on Merrick Road in the King Kullen shopping center.
