Can I just say...

I finally watched New Moon and I loved it! FH actually watched it with me the other night cuz he knew how long i was waiting to see it and when it was over he just looked at me an said 'You're so lame' LOL I thought it was good - I don't know if I'm alone.

It was better then Twilight that's for darn sure - the books are SOO much better!!

FH actually really got into New Moon - he kept asking 'so what happens in the other books' LOL

it wasn't horrible - not award winning film making but i thought it portrayed the book pretty well. it was pretty spot on.

Haha I told you you'd like it!!! It was actually a good movie. One night when I was mad at Dan I came home, cooked, had some twisted tea and watched New Moon alone and it was fabulous. It was much better than the first movie. I can't wait for Eclipse. And the pp are right- the books are a thousand times better.

Def start - they are such a quick read you will get through them in no time!!!!

twilight the movie is the cheesy love story so i think thats why FH had a hard time w/ it but the book is really addicting. i dunno for some reasons the words captured me more then the film.

I know! I told Chris that i was so mad at myself for watching this now and I should have waited until Eclipse came out because now I have to wait like everyone else and i want to know what happens!!! LOL I think I may start reading the books.

I've got all 4- just let me know if you want to borrow them! Eclipse is really good- Breaking Dawn is GREAT though! She's actually coming out with a new book on June 13th- 'The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner'. It's a novella about a character from Eclipse that we don't really get to see/hear much of. I'm pretty excited for it. Her other book 'The Host' is actually pretty good, too. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it, considering there's no vampires in it. lol!

ETA: I like that 'the words captured me more than the film.' It's an apt description- I do really like Stephenie Meyer's writing. And they are quick reads- even though they are about 400 pages each.

LOL FH had a tough time getting through Twilight. He was making faces and rolling his eyes every other second. Some parts really were cheesy but I enjoyed it... Haven't seen new moon yet.

And one of FH's favorite movies is The Notebook so he can handle romance, lol I guess just not vampire lovin.

I dont know why, but I am so anti-Twilight...but I'm not gonna lie, lately I've been wanting to watch them all. Is it mostly vampire related stuff???

Well... yeah... but mostly it's a love story. But there's lots of vampires and werewolves and the like running around.

Yes and no - its more about the dynamics between vampires and those who aren't vampires.

It's not all about the sucking of blood and sleeping in coffins.

its not the sterotypical vampire stuff that you are thinking of.

I dont want to say its 'deeper' then the norm but there is a little bit more to it.

I'm a twi- hard and honestly, w/out those books I wouldn't read anything! they got me to enjoy reading for leisure.

Well I knew it wasn't the sleeping in coffins thing haha but I wasn't sure if it was more of a romance thing based on what I see on the trailers. Seems lke a love story which is sweet but I didn't know how much of it was that.

I heard it was better which honestly cant be hard to do bc hello twilight WAS GOD AWFUL.

I wanst a fan of the books. Read em all anyway. I guess I thought they were too mormony lol. Is that a word?

I like vamp stuff..but more Anne Rice, Sherilyn Kenyon styled. vamps don't go to High School. lol.

make sure you download them... dont buy it... itunes version includes the bonus tracks... sooo good... Eclipse sountrack is being released on June 8th... i cant wait

FH suprisingly enjoyed twilight. I still have to watch New Moon - maybe I'll sucker FH into watching it next weekend
