can i see pics of your wedding set where the rings are not meant to be together? (updated with pic)

i am torn on whether to have a wedding band made to wear on a separate hand, or wear an eternity band with my engagement ring. my engagament ring is it's own style and i dont like the bands that fit to it.

is it weird to wear 2 rings on the same hand that dont 'belong' together?

ETA: my engagement ring and what it would be with the band. i may do a custom 'insert' type band.

My rings don't 'belong' together. The only way a band would be perfect with my engagement ring is to have a cut out one and I hate them personally. I found a band I love and it doesn't sit flat against my ring but I still love it.

this is my biggest problem! there is a wedding band that is set to go with my ring, but idk. if I want it!! everyone keeps telling me that if get something that leaves 'spaces' I'll regret it later only bc I'm am so picky!!
that did look very pretty together, how did u decide to not hey a custom cut one?

im just no a big an of the ones that cut in to fit the engagement ring.

i was set on a band for my other hand. but now i think i may want to wear it all on one finger.

I figured that I'm not bringing my engagement ring on our HM, so I wanted something I could wear alone and not have it look weird (not trying to insult anyone - that's just how I feel about the cut out rings on their own!). I was visiting my jeweler for something else and that ring caught my eye. It had been discontinued so it was the only one (wasn't even my size), but I tried it on and loved it.

I have the same thing.. I just have a half eternity band to go with my engagement ring. It does not fit or sit perfectly against my ring but I like it better that way. This way if I choose to wear my wedding band alone, it will look good.

My rings aren't perfect matches. They are similar in style and they don't really 'fit' together because I wanted to be able to wear my band alone. I uploaded a pic to the 'rings' album in my profile. I dunno i think it looks fine.

I'm going to have a problem when I start looking for bands too but I don't think they need to fit perfectly. I may get an twist band to match if I can find one or I'll get a normal band and there will be a little space. I'm personally not a fan of the cut outs because I would like to be able to wear them individually if I had to.

Hey!

I really hated the wedding band that 'went' with my engagement ring. The band of my engagement ring is kind of a braid, so I had a REALLY hard time getting anything to lay flat against it.

I just gave up and went with 2 bands (for symmetry), and since they are not curved or cut out, I can still wear them on their own

Our family jeweler that we've been going to FOREVER. It's Harrel's in Brentwood. AMAZING jewelry and the owner Jay is awesome.
