Can I send out my invites next week, or is it too early?
My wedding is August 11. Is it way too early to send the invites out next week?
RSVP date is July 7th.

We are sending ours this week and I am one week ahead of you so I say your timing is perfect!

I personally think it's a little early but send them out anyways. It won't hurt anyone.

I think that is fine -- the woman that did my invitations said that you can send them out up to 12 weeks before your RSVP date

I thought it was early, too... I might wait until a week from Saturday to go to the post office in person to hand cancel them...

I would send them after Memorial Day - that give you a little more than 8 weeks before your wedding, but also, people will all be back from wherever they went away for Memorial Day (so they won't get lost in the holiday shuffle of things to do, see, etc).

I would wait just a couple of more weeks, but if you really want to send them out now, it probably won't hurt.

I agree that it is a little early. The longer the have them the more likely they are to procrastinate about responding.

I would send them....Better that your guests get them early than late....=) I love getting invitations to parties....=)

mine are going out next week and i'm august 4th so i say definitely not too early! (and my invitation people said the same thing..)

i'm sending my invites out within the next week or so and my wedding is the day after yours so i say go for it! especially if you have a lot of OOTers

I think you can send your invitations next week. We are going to send ours out early also. Hopefully ours will go out on June 1, 2007. This summer is just going to be so busy for us.

I think it's fine, summer is a busy time.
We sent ours end of March for our July wedding.
About 3 months before RSVP date.

I don't think it's too early at all. I'm sending my OOT invites the first week of June and my wedding isn't until September. I actually got an invite to a wedding Labor day weekend about two weeks ago.
