Is anyone else registering for a light blue china pattern? I LOVE Mikasa's Blue Parchment pattern, but I am worried about being able to decorate with it at Christmas.
What do you all think?
Should I just register for Lenox Opal Innocence instead because it is white, or should I go with what I really love!!??
It's probably more economical to get a china pattern that you can use for all occassions. For christmas, decorate the table and get holiday napkins! I vote for registering for the blue pattern you like.
I love it...and I think you can. My pattern has greens and oranges and I told my mom..hey..now i can use it for xmas and she said 'no..I wanna buy a christmas set!' i said great..are you gonna buy me a big house to put all this crap in!

go with what you like... on christmas you could always do a snowflake theme instead of the typical red/green !!

You can TOTALLY use a blue pattern at Christmas time! Get something you absolutely LOVE. If you don't you will regret it. Sadly the pattern that I really loved, was discontinued and I couldn't find all of the pieces for the set, so I registered for our runner up. I still think about the first pattern though...

I think it is beautiful, go with what you like, don't settle. It can definitely work! Think 'winter wonderland'.

Go with what you love. You are going to use it for the rest of your life. And if people don't think it's 'Christmas-y' tell them that light blue reminds you of snow and ice.
At easter, an easter egg.
Every other time...it's really pretty and you love it..so who cares?!?!
