Can I wear pearls?

Can I wear pearls if my dress only has crystals on it? I really want to wear pearls but I am scared that it may look odd.

Maybe you should wear something with pearls and crystals.

Personally, I think pearls are such a classic they can be worn with jeans and a sweater or ballgown

do you have a picture? Also if your dress white of ivory?

I am planning on pearls my dress It will be in ivory. I will double check how looks when I go for a fitting

My dress is ivory and I do not have a pic of it, though it does look similar to the dress that am470 was writing about. dress

IMO...I would only wear a pearl necklace if there are pearls in my dress...but that is just my opinion. If u really want to wear pearls, I would do what xjulietx said...wear pearls and crystals mixed.

I went to China 2 years before my wedding and I bought pearls really cheap there thinking that I would wear them on my wedding day...but in the end...it didn't look right with the crystals/beading in my dress

Go to where you are getting your dress (they always have assessories at these places) and try a strand on with them. That is the only way you will be able to tell.
