Can She Do IT??

I found a great caterer who can do my entire wedding reception for $140pp!

Now before you say 'WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR BUDGET...'

This includes all food - AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING food - including a cockail hour with all the stations (pasta, pacific rim, carving), passed Hors D'oeuvres and anti pasta... the whole nine. It also includes a sit down dinner with sea bass, chicken, wild mushroom torte... whatever three I choose from a list of about 6 delicious treats.

It also includes premium bar service, linens, votives, wedding cake, dessert samplers, coffee service..

It also includes a wait staff, a maitre'd and a bartender.

And I can have it at my house. The beautiful tent with liner, lighting and dance floor is only $3000. And there is no minimum so I don't have to pay for 100 guests when I only have 70!

I am starting to think this may be AWESOME!

that sounds great! i LOVE the idea of a tent wedding, and i wanted to do one at my parents house...
BUT... also think about tables, chairs, glasses, plates silverware..... renting all of that could really add up, too ( if shes not including that)
ALSO- another issue was the bathroom... can you have 70 people using your parents bathroom? or would you have to look into renting port a potties or something like that?
not trying to get down on your idea, cause it definitely sounds great... just giving you some other stuff to think about good luck!!!

The caterer is actually off premises caterer for Lovin' Oven. So the reputation is pretty sterling!

They don't do the tables - but the $3000 includes the tent, the tables, the lining, the dance floor, the chairs and the lighting. It also includes optional sidewalls.

The $140pp includes all food and liquor plus it includes wait staff, etc..

I still have to do centerpieces, decorations, favors, dj, photographer, etc... all the stuff I would normally do.

I WOULD need to rent a portapotty - but I wouldn't need a limo.
