airbrush makeup is when the foundation is applied to your face with an airbrush machine (similar to the ones the nail salons use to airbrush your nails) vs. applied the traditional way. it should feel lighter on your face and less cakey compared to the traditional foundation application, assuming the makeup artist knows how to correctly airbrush.

with airbrushing the foundation is applied with an airbrush...kind of like spraypainting...so the makeup is very light and completely covers...i got it done and it evened out my skin wonderfully! pics in my album..

Airbrush is regular.. but it is applied with this contraption that kind of sprays it on in a fine mist so it sets better and lasts longer... at least that is what I have always understood.
