Can somebody recommend a good car insurance agent ???

i Second that!! Thats what DH has. (they have pretty strict standards as far as mileage usage goes) (dont know if that made grammatical sense though )... but we both live 3 miles or less from our jobs.

I havent gotten a joint policy w/ DH yet though... i have Geico right now... but we got quotes from both of them, and tristate was over $400 less (DH says he thinks it was actually $600 less, but i dont remember the exact numbers right now )

.. BUT it was for the SAME amount of coverage/ deductibles. no difference.

yeah i forgot to mention that. you have to live less then 15 miles from where you work. a friend at work tried to get this insurance and she was turned down b/c she was .6 miles over the limit. but their rates are low and cs is ok, no complaints.

also.. did you try the progressive website? they compare rates for a few different carriers... im not sure how accurate they are to the penny, but they may be able to rank the highest to lowest rates so you get an idea of who's at the higher/ lower end, ya know?
