Can someone adopt me please?

So I was just on the BHB board, and looking at what some girlies paid for veils - HOLY ISH! I'm not even spending that much on my dress! So, if anyone with some extra cash flow going on wouldn't mind adopting an adorable blue eyed charismatic girl named Christine....FM me!

Don't worry about the veil thing! I borrowed mine from a friend, so its free! Also Barrons at tri-county is great!! One of my other friends got hers there for $40 and it was beautiful! I can show you a pic later if you like!

I'm probably skipping the whole veil - it is just another cost (i'm getting married outdoors in a day wedding - so I may just do flowers in my hair).

my parents would shoot me if i spent lots of $$$$ on my veil. that is money i could put towards furniture or bills or a house!

I know... I THOUGHT veils would be cheap, but shhh*t was I in for a rude awakening when i started looking....i'd like to get put on the adoption list too!!

you do NOT have to pay a lot of $$ for a veil. Also, dont compare what other people are paying.....for anything really. You don't know what their $ situations are.
Feel good that you have time to find a bargain!

I feel the same way when I see people having their weddings at halls we couldn't afford. We weren't going to drop more than $110 pp after taxes.

As for veils, don't worry!!! And some people just think going to a more expensive place means better quality!!! Why waste $500 on a piece of silk or tulle that you're only going to wear for maybe 10 hours and never wear again??!! Same for a tiara!!

I saw one veil I loved in Macy's for $350 that I found at Tri-County AND on Ebay for under $65. If I had bought it at Macy's I would have been stupid!!

BTW Christine, have you found your gold tiara yet? I saw a website last night that had them and thought of you!!
