Can someone 'do the math' for me?

I keep coming up w/ different #'s!!

I need to fill 150 tins with M&M's....

each tin holds 2 oz. Each bag of m&m's has 8oz inside.....

How many bags of m&m's do I need?

How many if I only wind up needing to fill 100 tins?

OK I am no math major but my quick calculations are
25 bags for 100 and 37.5 for 150

You need 2 oz from each 8oz bag. So each bag will give you four tins? Correct?

I just divided 100 into 4 and 150 into 4.
So please correct me if I am wrong. I only teach first grade, very simple math. I am not used to this brain work so early
