Can someone explain this to me??

I took my invites to get weighed yesterday....they are like 92 or 93 cents...
Now does that mean I will have to put a .58 and a .41 on my invites?? Will that look stupid?

Wow, I've never heard of this site - their stamps are beautiful!

You should double-check the price... It should be either $0.58 for 2oz or $0.97 for 2 oz oversized.

I'm not sure what $0.92 is....?

I agree - I would go to another post office because .92/.93 seems like a weird price. My invitations were .97 and I used a dollar stamp

She said it weighed at about 93 cents, so in order to use the wedding stamps, we'd have to do one 58 cent and one 41 cent. I don't get it!

Why is it that the Post Office seems so screwed up when it comes to postage ? The Postal clerks seem to be clueless !

So many girls are having problems when it comes to accurate postage weights. With invites getting heavier, wouldn't it be smart to put our a 3 ounce wedding stamp (97cents) ?

Seriously! Now I have to have two different size stamps on these stupid invites!!!

Whoa! Wait.

Are you invites also oversized?

I think you should take them to another post office and ask them to weigh AND measure them. Get a second opinion - TRUST ME! 8 of my invitations were returned for 'postage due' and when the first came back on a Saturday, I spent 2 days freaking out that they were all being returned... and I had mine checked by 2 different post offices.

Just get another opinion from someone good so you know for sure the invites have enough postage. I had so much stress from this, and I'd hate to see anyone else deal with this!

Mine are .97 so I just out the $1 stamp on.

I got mine weighed and they were 75 cents. Normal 5x7 size. I was just hoping to put the 2 - 41 cents stamps on it.

Does 75 sound wrong too??

$0.92 is the 2007 rate for 3.5oz to 3.9oz. There was never a postage break point here before.

They generally do make stamps for various weights like that, but the Post Office has been VERY slow with the release of the new denomination stamps.

You can go to http://postcalc.usps.gov/ and calculate the postage needed for various items.

I'm sure you can find stamps that are the same size as the Wedding ones, or like suggested, use zazzle and get a custom made stamp of the correct denomination.

$1.31: 4 oz mailings
$4.60: Priority Mail (up to 16 oz)
