UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Winter sucks!!!!!!!!!! On top of everything else...the snow on the roof is causing the gutter to freeze and now the ceiling is leaking! Should we call someone to remove the snow??? Do roofing companies do this type of thing?? And how are they going to 'unfreeze' the gutter and even if they do..wont it just freeze again?!?! I know nothing about this stuff and I have NO IDEA who to call at all (we are in Queens if anyone knows of anyone). TIA!

I hate to laugh at you but I find it funny, cause our leak started last night. just had our roof fixed too.

It sounds more like your gutter clogged first and then froze. You can can call a gutter/roofer guy, but I doubt they will be able to do much until it all thaws. Also if you are getting stains or drips from your ceiling that means that your roof is leaking somewhere (and the clogged/frozen gutter has set it off) - hopefully you may only need a patch job and not have to pay for a new roof.
