Can someone help me out please (wedding website)?

I created a wedding website, and while its cute and fun, I feel like I don't have too much useful info on there

Can someone please look at it and tell me what you'd add/change/etc.?

I should add that we have virtually no OOT guests in need of hotels. The only OOTers that will attend are usually here on LI for Thanksgiving ANYWAY, and they stay with family.

I think it looks great. And your ring is gorgeous.

If you are looking for more things to add, what about local activities the weekend of your wedding, a then and now page with baby pics, a page about your parents, and what you guys plan on doing after the wedding (like if you bought a house, where you will live etc.

ooh - i actually also have my website on weddingannouncer and you gave me some great ideas on what to do with the registry thread, since we are not registered either. i don't really think there is anything else that the site NEEDS. it really looks great.

oh - maybe if you know where you will be going on your honeymoon you can include that. it would be fun for people to see that.

On ours I added a 'planning blog' where I keep everyone up to date on what I've booked/looked into so far...

I also added a silly quiz about us...

I have a page about our (not-yet-booked) honeymoon... and requested that people give us ideas for where to go!

Try adding some of these things!


OHHHH, and also -- we have a page about The Proposal! All of our families and friends loved to read it!

I think the site is great!
And it reminded me that I gotta get info about hotels - I'm really close to the airport and since its the holiday weekend i think they might book up fast!

Thank you soooo much!! I just ordered my STD's and I still have time to change the website address on them if I decide to use weddingannouncer.com instead!!

You are sooo funny about your relatives!!! There's one person I can see doing that (FMIL!!!!!) so I'd probably agree with you about not posting vendor info....but I guess you can always be generic (booked our florist, booked limo's etc).

Thanks for the compliment, but there's really nothing to share about how Rich proposed. Nothing planned, nothing special, in fact, he didn't even say 'will you marry me' . I had to ask for a do-over.

I started getting teary eyed!...It was because of the MUPPET SONG!!

Site looks great, I will read all the details later, gotta run to meet my photographer...I think...(I think we will book him...

I love it!!! I don't think you need to add any other info other than the registry,etc. when the time comes.
