I just started charting my temps this month. I take it right after i get out of bed in the AM. My last AF began on 12/6 and lasted about 5 days. My temps have started to go up this week - how will I know when I am O'ing? How will I know the peak?
Thanks
Oh and I am going to buy more OPK sticks...

Re: Can someone help me with charting?
My Dr. told me if to use the opk sticks 14 days after the first day of my period - however I didn't want to miss it so I started at day 12 - but he ended up being correct - and I got my surge on day 15. Hope this helps - sorry I don't know anything about charting.

Re: Can someone help me with charting?
I have a clarification question, do you take your temp right when you wake up or do you take it after you get out of bed? What calendar day on you on? Are you charting your CP and CF as well? Are you keeping a record of your chart online where I could take a look at it?

I wake up and use the bathroom, then take my temp - am i doing it wrong?
By calendar day, do you mean what day of my cycle? Today is Day 8 out of a 29 day cycle.
I don't know what CP and CF are! lol I don't have a chart online...

You should take it before you even get out of bed. Also - try to get the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. I found it extremely helpful.

You need to take the temp before you get out of bed, around the same time each morning. Please do check out FertilityFriend.com. It's free (you can pay more for premium service shich isn't really necessary), and has all of the information you'd ever need to know about charting. Good luck!

Re: Can someone help me with charting?
I found some webpages that might help you. I think that before your O day your temperature drops and right after your O day it goes up. Normally it should be between 97.1 and 97.6 and after O'ing it would be higher 07.7 +. That's what I think but maybe these articles can give you more answers. Good luck!!!
