how much it cost to box your dress??? we had this done by one of dh's FRIENDS, who owns a dry cleaners, and he charged me $350. w t f???? I almost fell off my chair. PLEASE tell me that this is not at all normal......

I paid about $250 to do mine. And that was at the bridal salon I bought it from...WITH a coupon!

mine was $160 to get it cleaned and preserved (boxed)

I paid $150 and the dress was cleaned 4 times to get all the dirt out to my satisfaction

$150 - it was supposed to be $175 but since this was also the same woman who did my alterations she gave me a break.

I paid $350 to have mine cleaned, repaired (there was a small tear on the seam) and boxed.

If anyone would be so kind to FM the information on who they used I would greatly appreciate it. I've be getting prices STARTING at $500 !!!!

My 'cousin-in-law' owns his own dry cleaning business and insisted we only pay for the box ($50) so I have no idea how much he charges.
