Veils are just SOooOOOo expensive??? Comeon now.. Its just a piece of tulle!!!!! This boggles my mind!!!!
I just dont understand how these bridal salons can get away with making so much money on veils when if you really think about how much it really costs to make..its just outrageous!!! Michaels crafts sell tulle for like 99cents a square foot... IF THAT!! Now believe me that when it comes to my wedding, I dont mind spending a few extra dollars on something I really love.. but serious. $320 for a fingertip length veil is just insane. Does anyone agree, or an I going insane?

I completely agree with you!! I saw a veil I fell in love with in Macy's until I saw the price tag...$350!! I said hell with that! Even the veils in the bridal salons still run in the $120 - 200 range!!
My solution was I went to Tri-County and got my veil AND tiara for $150 total. And that's only because my tiara is so ornate that it was $90. The veil was only $60.
This is also why lately I have been checking Ebay and craigslist. Both have people selling perfectly good bridal things at a FRACTION of what you would pay elsewhere!! It's sad the minute the word 'bridal' or 'wedding' is attached to something, the price gets marked up by 60%!!

you can ge them at michaels 14.99-- and add to it to make it personal ( also can use a %40 off from sunday newspaper)

I bought mine for $25 off ebay. It is a two tier fingertip veil edged in satin and is perfect!! Seriously...its tulle and thats it. I was picky about a lot of things but when comparing veils, i was fed up. They all started looking the same and the price differences were amazing. The seller I bought from was honeymooneve and i would recommend her!

I bought mine from bridesave.com for around $50 - it is a two tier fingertip length veil with pearl edging. $300 is WAY too much!

Wow..That's crazy that veils are so much money. I didn't really even start looking at them. I think I may surf the net and see if I can get a bargain.
