good question.......i wanted a destination wedding which would have been cheaper but Fh actually wanted the big wedding. not that i dont but i would have def gone for the dest. if he was into it also

HONESTLY i am spending this much money bc its what i want and always wanted my wedding to be....i never plan on marrying again! even though it is just one day the memories and pictures will last forever and i guess all of this will just make me feel good!

we're doing it because if we didn't do it, 20 years down the line we'd regret not having done everything we're doing..and our kids will miss out on watching our wedding video and looking at our pictures...i know i loved looking at my mom's wedding pictures from her first marriage (not my dad) and i would hate to take that away from my kids in the future

Hopefully to be able to look back and try to say 'Damn that was the best day of my life and I regret nothing!!' I'm trying to conserve as much as possible but it's difficult. As long as you LOVE what you have going, LOVE your FH, and LOVE the day...it was alllllll worth it!!

Because it's something we all want. That's the only way I can keep going. I know if I don't do it this way I will end up regretting it. This is my 2cnd marriage and w/ my first one it was very low key - what I consider redneck - oh the details still give me nightmares. The worst thing happened after we got back from our honeymoon. ( Which was another redneck affair.) We attended another wedding that was fabulous - and to make it worse the bride had on my dress. I spent the entire night weeping to myself.
So I know that this is something that I want and FH wants.

Money is money and hopefully it will always be there. We are fortunate enough to be able to have a big wedding, so we are going to take advantage of it while we can.

That thought crosses my mind all the time too! But just a simple wedding these days cost so much! I plan to marry only once so I want it to be special and what I want.

Believe it or not, FH is the one that wants to big traditional party. I really wanted to run off to Hawaii and get married on the beach
But since it meant so much to him, and I wasn't entirely opposed to it I am going along for the ride not mention getting a case of Carple Tunnel Syndrom with all the check writing lately

The reason we are spending this much money is because this is something we always wanted. I plan on getting married only this one time and I want it to be the most memorable day of my life. I have always dreamed of my wedding day and I want my dreams to come true. I don't want to ever look back years later and say I should have done this or that... I can't wait to marry my best friend and spend the rest of our lives together and every penny put into this wedding will be well worth it.
