Can someone recommend a hotel in South Beach Miami?
One that is preferably close to the beach and all of the nightlife so we won't have to rent a car. Thanks!

I've stayed at the leslie tides and the essex house. the Leslie and the tides are right on ocean drive and the essex is on collins. I liked staying over there better than staying down by the delano. you are in the heart of all the action.

I literally just got back tonight! I went with my girls for a bachelorette party weekend. It is really fun. We stayed at a place called the Lily Leon on Collins. There are so many places in the are. It was a great location walking distanc eto beach and clubs. The Essex House looked nice too. The Cleavlander was a great place to hang out, but not stay. Have a great time!

The shelbourne was great as was the colony (but thats a small art deco hotel, no pool) if you want a luxury hotel try the fountainbleu

We went about a year ago and stayed at the Pelican. It was really nice, right on Collins(? sorry it was my first time staying overnight, the road along the beach )

I also stayed at the Shelbourne and I felt it was an ok hotel but a little too far from everything and required a cab. I also stayed at the Blue Moon hotel on Collins which was a small hotel but nice rooms and very quaint. Also literally one block from Ocean Dr (the beach) and walking distances to restaurants and any niteclubs. The rates were also decent for a stay. I dont believe in paying too much since all you do is sleep there.
