Depends.
There are some really pricey homes in the area (million plus)!!!! (there are some nice areas near Woodbury.)

I live in Melville. This area also goes to South Huntington Schools. I don't know how the schools are now, but the area I live in is filled with new families and kids. It is a great place to live because its close to everything. There is always private schools to send your kids if you would consider that. St Anthonys is one just near my house, I heared that was a great school.

Most of S. Huntington is very nice, but there is a small part of the school district that is not so nice. My mom lives there now and my brother and sister go to S. Huntington (district 13) schools and the schools are very good. I actually went to Huntington schools (district 3) and I think that nowadays S. Huntington is better. My mom moved a few years ago from hunt. to s. hunt and she is so much happier with the schools in s. hunt. I've heard that Huntington has gang problems and racial problems now. district 3 is very diverse. FM me if you have any questions of if you have a specific area in mind
