can someone tell me how this happened???

when we first got engaged, i wanted a small wedding brunch with like 100 ppl...now somehow this frickin wedding turned into a production with 178 ppl to be invited!!!!!!! i know compared to many of you this isnt alot, but its abs ridic to me!!!!

and FH doesnt help, he owns an auto repair shop (hes a 'car surgeon') and he calls me yesterday and says 'oh we haaaaaave to invite the inspection guy, he was asking me about my heart today.' and im like ...he seems to think that anyone who has ever said anything nice about him should come to our wedding...i told him we should put a flyer out at the shop, or give invites with every oil change...and FILs are throwing us a day after bbq for all the shop ppl that couldnt come!


ugh 137 days and this is alll over.

Im with you..we didnt think we would meet our 150 minimum and now we have over 200 people on our list!!!

Me too but it is. FH is the same way, that is why I laugh. He wanted to put everyone in the wedding that he ever said hi to. I used to get so mad...

same here.. dont go crazy... FH works for the board of Ed.. and he wants the entire SCHOOL to go sometimes.. lol.. and not just his school the entire board.. we booked 100.. and we are at 165 including the 15 people his mom invited from church!!

Same here i wanted a 50 person very close intimate wedding but with my mother inviting everyone under the sun its more like 80 something now...

I wouldn't worry about it. We wanted 150 guests and we invited almost 200 and we are just making our min of 125. I am actually happy about it now. So just because you are inviting that many doesn't mean they will all come.

I know how you feel!!!! BUT to make you feel better we sent out 165 invites, 107 yes' and about 95 people showed!

I feel you pain! It may not be as bad as you think
