Honestly, and I'm not exactly a pro at wedding dress shopping, but I would start in maybe June, especially if you're about 11 months away from the big day. You want enough time in case you're not finding The One, plus factoring in ordering it, coming in and alterations.
Congrats on graduating soon!!! I am getting married in January and am going gown shopping when my mom comes up from FL- April 18-22. Praying I find 'the one' in that period!
Yay for being so close to graduating! That's awesome! I read that you should order your dress 8 months out so it has time to come in, be altered, etc.
I started looking last month, and my wedding is in June. But I also know myself, and I'm going to be deciding on a dress until the last second before I absolutely need to order. There's nothing wrong with going now or waiting, just ask the consultants when you absolutely have to order by.
Congrats! I set a goal that I'll be looking for my dress once I lose 20 lbs. I'm giving myself 2-3 months. Just a litttttle too soon, but it's some sort of incentive to lose weight and get healthy!

I went last month and found my dress. I wanted an eve of milady though and her dresses are known to take forever to come in. I'd start looking around.
I've been checking out dress styles online, but I probably won't actually try on any until October or November. I'd like to lose a couple of lbs before finding my dream dress.
