The colors of my wedding are red and black. The bridesmaids are in short black dresses with red shoes and my dress is ivory and i will be wearing red shoes too.
My mother will be walking me down the aisle by herself and what i want to know if its okay if she wears a red dress? She doesn't want to wear black and she has a silver dress already but she hates it. So i don't mind her wearing red but what will everyone else say.

I think the real question is are you ok with your mother wearing red?
If the answer is yes, then yes the MOB can wear red.
If the answer is no, then no the MOB can not (or at least should not) wear red.

My grandpa always jokes that his mother wore black to his wedding. I loveee black. My bm's will be wearing black and i think both of our mothers.
If she finds a dress she likes in red go for it

Who cares what people think? If she looks beautiful and FEELS beautiful and you don't have a prob with it....then she can wear whatever she wants.....except white of course.

If the BM's were in red dresses I'd say no. If they're wearing black with just the shoes red then it should be fine, go for it!
