Can the MOB wear red?

The colors of my wedding are red and black. The bridesmaids are in short black dresses with red shoes and my dress is ivory and i will be wearing red shoes too.

My mother will be walking me down the aisle by herself and what i want to know if its okay if she wears a red dress? She doesn't want to wear black and she has a silver dress already but she hates it. So i don't mind her wearing red but what will everyone else say.

My wedding colors were black and red and my mom, who walked me down the aisle, wore cranberry. Mom's on my right...her cousin is on my left

my colors are also black and red. I told my mom she could wear red as long as it was dark and not fire engine. The MOH is wearing a deep red called bordeaux.

My sister had a black and white wedding and my mother wore red, it was a deep red, my mother looked AMAZING! She did not stand out, but definitely did not fade into the corner. I can only hope my mother looks as beautiful at my wedding. I say go for it- if thats the color she wants to wear and she feels comfortable in, why not!

Aboslutley...my colors are Black white and red and i let my mom and my MOH decided who wore what color...Mom went with black and MOH went with red but I was cool with it either way.

Of course she can! It doesn't matter if the Mothers have the same color dress. It bothers some girls, but if it doesn't bother you, then let your mom wear red.
